Omaha Symphony presents the Lerner & Loewe Songbook - Video

"With a Little Bit of Luck," you'll be heading to the Holland Performing Arts Center to hear the Omaha Symphony perform the Lerner & Loewe Songbook, Saturday, March 29, 8 p.m., and Sunday, March 30, 2 p.m., featuring music from the songwriting team's best musicals. Conducted by Resident Conductor Ernest Richardson and featuring a Broadway cast and local choruses, the Lerner & Loewe Songbook will include songs from My Fair Lady, Camelot, Gigi, Brigadoon and Paint Your Wagon. Audiences will thrill to hear favorites like "If Ever I Would Leave You" (Camelot), "They Call the Wind Maria" (Paint Your Wagon), "The Night They Invented Champagne" (Gigi), "Almost Like Being in Love," "I'll Go Home with Bonnie Jean," (Brigadoon), and "Wouldn't It Be Loverly," "I Could Have Danced All Night," and "On the Street Where You Live" (My Fair Lady). Singers include Jennifer Hope Wills, soprano; Richard Todd Adams, baritone; and Peter Lockyer, tenor. The Omaha Symphonic Chorus and UNO Chamber Choir will perform as well.

Tickets to the Lerner & Loewe Songbook start at $19. They can be purchased by visiting www.omahasymphony.org, or by calling 402.345.0606. In addition to regular tickets, Student Rush tickets are available to all Omaha Symphony concerts, including the Lerner & Loewe Songbook. Up to two Student Rush tickets may be purchased for $10 the day of the concert with a valid student ID.
