Sänger/Songschreiber und Gitarrist und das was man einen “working musician” nennt.

Seit 1984 Profimusiker, in ungezählten Bands und Projekten stand er inzwischen mehr als 2000 mal auf den Bühnen dieser Welt! Manche sagen er wäre eine Mischung aus

Meat Loaf, Willy DeVille und John Hiatt.

Aufgewachsen mit der Musik der grossen amerikanischen Singer/Songwriter und geprägt durch den Sound der Blues, Rock und Countrymusik der letzten 40 Jahre fing er schon im

Alter von 14 Jahren selbst Songs zu schreiben. Als direkte musikalische Einflüsse benennt er Grössen wie Daniel Lanois, Chris Whitley oder die Neville brothers und nicht zuletzt natürlich auch Willy Deville oder ELVIS. In seinen eigenen Songs vermischt er gekonnt die einzelnen Stilelemente zu einer für Ihn typischen Version seines wie er es nennt:

„ACCOUSTICOUNTRYROCKINGBLUES“

Die Gitarre und natürlich seine herausragende Stimme sind ein absolutes Markenzeichen. Balladen, Uptempo Songs oder dampfende Swampgrooves, ROTH fühlt sich in jeglichen musikalischen Gefilden zuhause. Hauptsache es ist “Handmade Music” ohne allzuviel produktionstechnischen Schnick-Schnack. Sein Motto lautet immer: “LET THE MUSIC DO THE TALKING!”



Singer/Songwriter and Guitarist and what you would call a "working musician". workin in music business since 1984 he played in countless Bands and Projects and has been on stages all over the world more than 2000 times! People say hes a mixture of Meatloaf, Willy Deville and John Hiatt.well maybe not?

He grew up with the music of the great american Songwriters and was moulded by the sound of blues, rock and countrymusic of the last 40 years. At the age of 14 he started to write his own Songs with lots of influences from musicians like Daniel Lanois, Chris Whitley or the Neville brothers. He loves the music of the Doobies, the Eagles, Sonny Landreth or Michael Mcdonald.and when it comes to Rock, well then itll be Van Halen, Boston and Whitesnake! What a variety. ;-)

In his own Songs he mixes everything together in his typical version of what he calls the: "ACCOUSTICOUNTRYROCKINGBLUES"

The guitar and his absolutely outstanding voice is his musical trademark, no matter if its

a smoothe ballad an uptempo rocksong or a deep and heavy swampgroove. He feels at home in any musical genre.at least its got to be "HANDMADE MUSIC"! A good song is a good song, no matter how and on what instrument youre playing it. "LET THE MUSIC DO THE TALKING!"
