The song 'Soul Town' has proved something of a talisman for me. I wrote it in 2004 because I was a bit disgruntled at the removal of the 'Soul category' from many international music awards!

Since then the song has organically evolved into my most frequently performed and most widely requested at my live performances and has been my encore tune since I first released it in 2005.

It is currentl;y enjoying a rennaissance of sorts due to some seriously tasty remixes commissioned by Gary Van den Bussches's Disco, Soul Gold Records label.

This version is performed with Germany's amazing SWR Big Band for a TV broadcast in 2014 titled 'Soul Encounter with Ola Onabule'.
