DJ OLABEAN

Without a doubt DJ OLABEAN is one of the most innovative and creative DJ's to come out of the North West of England. His talents have taken him from Djing and promoting club events to music production and artist management, also hosted Liverpools Sony award wining premier Black Music show on Juice Fm.



DJ OLABEAN started his career like most DJ's, from the bedroom, spinning vinyl endlessly until he mastered the art of turntablism. OLABEAN alongside DJ KOFI entered the UK DJ Mixing Championships (D.M.C) and they became another legend in the long list of Champions.



After the DMC, OLABEAN showcased his turntable skills all over the UK and abroad. From Ireland, Switzerland, German, Italy, USA and as Africa, Olabean has dispalyed his Dj skills worldwide.



OLABEAN was involved in one of the UK's hottest Dj Crews THE HITMEN alongside heavy hitters like DJ SEMTEX, DJ KOFI, SHORTEE BLITZ and DAVY DIAMOND. OLABEAN stated "it was an honour to be amongst kings".



OLABEAN has fast been making a name in music industry as top Rnb/Hip Hop producer and song writer, with production credits for the likes of Destinys Child, Mariah Carey, Ashanti, Ja Rule and Atomic Kitten to name but a few.



Olabean also hosted Liverpools premiere Hip hop Rnb and Dancehall show called TOPNOTCH SHOW with P.L on JUICE FM in Liverpool which had featured artists such as Jay Z, Rihanna, The Game, Neyo, Ludacris, Floetry, Young Jeezy, Nelly Furtardo, Pussy Cat Dolls, G-Unit, Tearre Marie, Mobb Deep, Bashy, M's Dynamite, Bobby Valentino to name but a few, the show also dedicated support to up and coming unsigned artists aslo. In 2006 Topnotch Show also won the prestigious Sony Award, the station never reiceved such a award in the 10 years of being on air



Olabean is also currently working and developing artists from all over the UK, working in colleges, youth centres and community centres and giving young people a start in the music industry, but coming from Toxteth Olabean's heart is set in developing local acts.
