24th Feb 2016 The Triffid in Newstead - This years Fender Roadshow for Brisbane was held at a new venue (good sounding room but terrible seating, to be fair its a standing only live music room) lets hope its back next year at the Judith Wright Centre. I'm only going to post this video because it has the least amount of bodies and heads in it (everyone wants to go to the bar, then 5 minutes later they get up and go to the toilet), enough of the bitchin and more on the song. This is one of Greg Koch's songs from the new CD Greg Koch and the Tone Controls - Vivid Gristle. I'm going to do a bit of a Molly Meldrum here and say " Do yourselves a favor, get on gregkoch.com and get a copy of the CD or DVD its got killer tunes". The roadshow band was the same as last years but with the addition of another super talented Australian musician Rod McCormack as seen in this tune of Okie. I did film Vodie Shuffle which is a ball biting tune from the Vivid Gristle CD with James Ryan on guitar but I'm not posting it because of the amount of bodies and heads in front of my lens.
