My name is Jason Johnson; born and raised in Queens, NewYork. I graduated from Princess Anne high School in Virginia Beach, Va. Post graduation I returned to New York , where I worked Construction in the Union under Local 79. After becoming one of many very fortunate survivors of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, I realized how precious life really is. My journey continued to South Beach Miami where I began working with Donald Pliner, learning fashion and modeling. While I was enjoying myself, I still was not fully pursuing my passion. Therefore, I reevaluated my goals and started making advances. In 2003, joined the US Navy and was stationed on the U.S.S Iwo-Jima in which assisted in The Hurricane Katrina Disaster serving through 2008. I received my Honorable Discharge. Being in the Military armed me with more than weapons, but with discipline, stamina, consistency, qualities that would only benefit me later.
Music has always been a constant in my life and I enjoy all genres. Music fits in every aspect of life. However, everyone has different feelings and emotions. When a person can translate music and lyrics into an emotional expression that is relatable to many, then they bare the mark of a great musician! Granted a successful artist will find great fame and fortune, consequently music means more to me than just a hierarchal position on a todum pole of entertainers. It's the opportunity to touch the hearts and minds of the world, and one I would take seriously. Music is my passion, and being a successful artist is my dream.
Goals in life are paramount, and I aim high. I have always pushed my limits, hopeful that someday I can make my dreams a reality. My dream is to pursue my career and reach my full potential. Ultimately, I strive for the opportunity to represent the country's top entertainers in a positive social light. I am confident my musical movement can become a powerful social force in the urban communities internationally. Fulfilling my dreams will result in fulfilling the dreams of others.
