Break Da Funk has been acting for many years to promote funk and hip-hop in the best meaning of those words.
DJ Spike and Ojciec Karol are responsible for the music on the vinyl, but there is a dime a dozen of great guests: MC Kfiat in "Kurator", you can hear Sean Palmer in "Muppets Revolution" as well as Maciej Kleszczewski, Staszek Wrobel, Tomacki and Paul Moszynski.
The material is in a funk style, and the single "Kurator" is the only number with Polish rap.
The album is extremely useful for DJs: there are two loops at the end of each side (endless grooves) and great material for all scratch heads - texts, sounds and beats.

I'm a DJ, breakbeat funk music maker and co-founder of a Break Da Funk collective. I take part as a scratcher in a hip hop band Bassgrou. My scratches have also been used on LP's of bands including Laki Lan, Patent, Marika, Letko. For more than a year, me and dj Spike were on the radio waves with our show "Break Da Funk" in Jazz Radio FM, where break and funk fans enjoyed fusion of music mixed live in the studio along with the live instruments of guest musicians. Now we run a weekly radio show on Radio Kampus 97.1 FM. I'm also a break dj who played at various b boy contests across the country. I've released mix CDs titled „Akumulatura". and "Sepukultura" featuring live musicians. Now dj Spike and I are working on our debut release "Break Da Funk". kWaSdLaMaS! You know the score.Peace

OJCIEC KAROL HAS COMMITTED "SEPUKULTURA"!
"Sepukultura" is a new Ojciec Karol mix-CD recorded with his friends:
Kuba Galinski – analog synths, organs; Suhi vel Sushkin – trumpet and vocal; Dj Zaju - scratch; mC glennSKii – vocal. The CD contains over 30 funky tunes based on broken percussion rhythms and a 70's bass groove sound. The material has been released as a whole in a digi-pack. The cover art is done by Bozekone – a B-Boy and graffiti artist representing Miami Vice and Breakoholix. The audio was mixed and mastered at Funkkrok Studio.
