Ever find one of those songs that you just know was meant for you to hear? The lyrics weren’t written for you…but you feel like the lyrics were written about you and what is going on in your life. Every so often, I find that kind of song…or at least…it finds me. I not only love the music and lyrics of this song…but I’m also very much infatuated with the entire F1RST album. It’s has some of the smoothest soul music filled with romantic ballads that pull on the heartstrings. This gifted and talented International R&B Recording Artist was born O’Bryan Thomas Burnette II…but the music community and his fans know him as just “O’Bryan”. At age 6 he started playing the piano and singing in local talent shows. O’Bryan was singing in the Church Choir when he was approached by a friend about pursuing a career in music. After a later introduction to Soul Train creator and host Don Cornelius, O’Bryan released four albums under Capitol Records that each hit the Billboard R&B charts. F1RST, the fifth studio album released on Feb 14 2007, was released on O’Bryan’s own independent label called Headstorm.
