About Us



Nuts and Seeds promote independent music in Glasgow.



We have been in existence in one form or another since 2002 putting on gigs in Glasgow for bands touring the UK.



The door prices are kept affordable and the bands are paid well in order to support a sustainable and ethical network for live music. Costs are kept low and bands are fed, paid and given a decent place to sleep.



All the money made on the door going to covering costs and paying the bands and consequently there are no guestlists. Every effort is made to keep music inclusive, cheap, anti-elitist and fun.



Nuts and Seeds frown upon the following:



Attempts to enter gigs without paying the door fee (rarely in excess of 4 pounds) because you work for music press/a record label/music publishing organisation etc.



Deluded aspirations to major label stardom leaving the magnanimous and good willed trampled in your wake.



Taking down our posters.



Nuts and Seeds will not take down your posters.



Nuts and Seeds split 7 inch releases



We have 4 new split 7inch records they are available in monorail at our shows or just contact us to get one, £3 each!
