Shadow Of The Raven

Take my Life and all its Glory,
Let your song, tell all my story,
Tell of how I stood right till the end.

I faced it all, through troubles great,
A lonely grave should be my fate,
Yet even now, I believe in you my friend.

All I have to give to you,
Are feelings strong, and words of truth,
And hope one day, they guide you to the light.

You fought as I, you passed each test,
Your courage held, for each new quest,
And now the end is well within your sight.

As shadows fall, and daylight ends,
Take my Hand, for we are friends,
A Kin, that few have seen, or could not share.

The shadow of the Raven's wing,
Throughout the ages, softly sing,
I promise with all my Heart, I will be there.

Just close your eyes, and think of me,
As morning breaks, my face you'll see,
For I am just a moments thought away.

As true as any Raven's Heart,
In Death or Life, we'll never part,
Bound to you in Love, is how I'll stay.......
