Chuck Coffey, Head Honcho (seriously, that's his title on their website) of local Denver, Colorado record label Snappy Little Numbers Quality Audio Recordings, is proud to do his part to keep quality vinyl releases alive.
With it's roots stemming from Not Bad World Industries, Snappy Little Numbers continues to put out 7″ singles from local and non-local artists, with 2013 releases from The Knew, SPELLS, and L.A. band Empty Palace.
According to Chuck, the label functions similar to a co-op, with the band and Snappy Little Numbers working together to fund a project. And not just with money, but "sweat equity" plays a big role as well.
Snappy Little Numbers Quality Audio Recordings is just another example of the dedicated, and unfortunately often overlooked, infrastructure that makes our local scene something special. Thanks to Chuck and everyone over at Snappy Little Numbers, for all you do.
