Once in a while I get asked to post lessons. Here you go. I'm going to post a 7 part freebee series of lessons on the "finger rolls" I do, starting today with part one. BTW, finger roll is a misnomer. you can't bounce your finger, and these are actually tabla techniques. So, for those percussionists who are curious about tabla, but who realize they don't want to spend their entire life learning such a difficult instrument, this might be a fun way to get acquainted with some tabla ideas and techniques.
