The images are from a Haudenosaunee legend taken from a Hollywood movie - A Haudenosaunee Mohawk woman is desired by the sky being: Thunderspirit. He has watched her for a long time and he is desperate to make her his wife. This also works out and she follows him in the realm of skies. Other little spirits supply her with the food & corn that she needs to survive in the sky. They live happyly for some time. Then she gets pregnant with Thunderspirits child. Another powerfull being, Skywoman, orders that the child must be born on Earth among humans. But one rule must be observed.....The child is never to striked or beaten. If that ever happens, the child is to return inmediatly to the realm of the sky.However, the people in the village don't believe the story that was told by the girl about the father of the child - they believe she got kidnapped by another tribe and got raped. After which she went crazy.....making this story up.One day, the child whom she named "Thunderboy" got beaten by his Grandmother for repeatedly stating that thunder is his father. After that the boy returns to the sky and doesn't return... Great song!!
