DESCRIPTION: In September 2012, Growler Johnson took on 15 miles of bad road to search for a grizzly moose near Kintla Lake in NW Glacier Park. None were found. As the stale chips and locally produced soda purchased from the Polebridge store had already met their demise, nothing was left to do but pull out a handy dandy tuba and seek to call in a bear -- after all, they were known to be in a rut. None were seen. A few snickers were heard from nearby bushes, but that's hardly proof of ursine inhabitants.
