Earning a Command Performance award, 17 year old classical guitarist, Noah Shpak, performs "Vals Venezolano #3 (Natalia) at the March 2, 2013 CMEA Solo & Ensemble Festival at St. Mary's College in the San Francisco California Bay Area. The piece was composed by Antonio Lauro (1917-1986). Noah studies privately with Mike Williams, is musically mentored daily by Michael Miller, and has enjoyed great lessons in musical expressiveness from his dear friend, classical pianist, Jan Wright. Noah also has the good fortune of receiving masterful musical guidance from jazz legend, Clark Terry, as well as much wonderful inspiration from the heart of Gwen Terry. Noah is also very grateful for the wonderfully positive & constructive feedback he received from Rosemary Fernandez (the CMEA Solo & Ensemble judge who awarded him the Command Performance certificate for this performance).
