DESCRIPTION:
I thought it was about time to produced a really good quality video for you lot. A video that would show just what sort of work I do.

Here it is - recorded in Newcastle at Blank Studios, old pal Ian Stephenson is playing a new Rio rosewood and European spruce Model C. He's been playing my guitars for years and is one of the most sought after musicians on the European folk scene today.

It's important to hear instruments in context, not just solo. So we invited another friend to join in - Andy May, one of the finest players and makers of Northumbrian pipes in the world today. As you can probably tell, Ian and Andy have played together for years. The tunes in the video are both English, the lads picked them for lots of reasons - first - they are a great pair of tunes, but they also allow Ian to show off the dynamic range possible on a Forster guitar, and just how well they record.

So a big thanks to everyone involved in the project - I'm both pleased and proud! To Ian and Andy for their wonderful musicianship, to Ian again for his sound production skills upstairs in the control room, and to Sam and Chris at Blank Studios for their great work in the studio - engineering, recording, mixing, editing and putting it all together. Thanks chaps!!
