Dinupa Kodagoda starts her career as a dancer since her childhood. While Studying at St.Joseph's Girls' School Nugegoda, she has learned Sri Lankan Low Country Dancing under the guidance of Mrs.Beatris Weerasinghe. At the age of 4, she has joined the Nanda Malini Sangeethashramaya to learn Singing. Her next step was to join the Kala Bhoomi School of Music & continue the study of singing in Hindustani Classical Music, trained by Sangeeth Nipun (Mrs)Manjula Senevirathne. Dancing & Singing was her passion as well as her lifestyle since childhood. In the year 2001, she's been selected to the children's musical program Tikiri Pedura, later on named as "Hapan Pedura". It has been the most popular children's music program of that time, and Dinupa was able to gain Fame & Popularity as a Child Artist. While she was gaining knowledge & experience in her aesthetic fields, she had the great opportunity of being a member of the Dr.Premasiri Khemadasa Foundation, trained & worked as a Vocalist. In the year 2008 she started working with the THEEVRA Performing Arts Ensemble and has contributed her skills as a Choreographer, Dancer and a Vocalist. Since then, she has been an active member of the Ensemble and works as a Dancing teacher and a Vocal trainer of the THEEVRA School of Performing Arts. Dinupa is a graduated Performing Arts Specialist who has studied Kathak Dance at the University of Visual and Performing Arts. As a Vocalist, she's been able to try out singing a variety of music styles while working with many musicians such as Rohana Weerasinghe, Premasiri Khemadasa, Nadeeka Guruge, Asela Bandara, Harsha Ariyasinghe, Nadika Weligodapola & Gayan Ganakadara. Dinupa is an Artist who has a great vision on what and how she should use her knowledge and creativity for the sake of a more sensible society. She's an Artist with Commitment.
