Music for a dark room (Part I) - Video
PUBLISHED:  May 27, 2010
DESCRIPTION:
Music I made that sounds nice as you fall asleep. Listen late at night laying on your back with the lights out. Not for meditation...for sad empathy only.

This one is darker and reminds me of someone's last thoughts as they lay dying on the ground on a cold grey autumn day as gentle show flakes drop to the soil. I don't why such specific imagery but it does convey these thoughts to me...morbid but truthful.

What do you see?

I wrote it in 1994 for a web page. The recycling pattern reminded me of Brian Eno so I called the song "BEno" since then as I am trying to "Be Eno" and his first initial...silly but that is that. It seems more like Samuel Barber now that I think of it. Could be good in a sad movie.

The image is a cloud over the Wicklow mountains
toned down to black.

It is just one Quasimidi Quasar Instrument sounding.
