DESCRIPTION:
Nik Bärtsch's RONIN - zen-funk jazz quintet founded in 2001 by Swiss composer and pianist Nik Bärtsch, together with Kaspar Rast (drums), Björn Meyer (bass), Andi Pupato (percussion) and Sha (contrabass, clarinet), who didn't participate in this concert. In this video Ronin performs in Reformed Church in Riga. It's one of my first video productions, shot using two simple Sony miniDV cameras.
