DESCRIPTION:
Folk legend Travis Edmondson performs with Mariachi del Sol, a mariachi band that learned some its songs from Travis' record albums; recorded at Garduno's Restaurant in Scottsdale, AZ in August of 2003. The song is the well-known classic "Sin Ti," a number that Travis popularized with English-speaking audiences in the late 1950s.

Travis passed away on May 9th, 2009, at the age of 76. But his contributions to American culture as a folksinger and as an innovator who brought Mexican folk music into the English language mainstream remain, as do the warmth and generosity of this superlative artist and man.
