'I Got This' is a true story about NEM's cousin Nick Phillip Mowery. Nick Philip was diagnosed with brain cancer in December of 2015. NEM, along with other family and close friends, had the opportunity to visit with Nick Phillip during his first couple months of treatment (Radiation/Chemotherapy). The strength and determination demonstrated by Nick Philip Mowery has been truly inspirational. All of the lyrics in 'I Got This' were either said or implied by Nick Phillip during NEM's 23 day visit. This song, along with so many thoughts and prayers, is for you Nick P.
