DESCRIPTION:
The Storyteller tour brings together two songwriters who have a gift for turning stories into songs. For Philippa Hanna it is her own story of faith and that of friends she has met along the way, for Graham it is songs inspired by characters and events clustered around the dramatic events of Jesus life. Come and join in a night of Storytelling, songs and worship.

Graham says: "I have always had a passion to tell the Jesus story through songs, in fact I was doing that for years before I wrote and recorded praise and worship songs, and a particular feature of those songs is how they dramatise characters and scenes from the Gospels. I want the audience to step into the story, to feel the drama and atmosphere of those world-changing events and to encounter the Jesus of today."
There will be familiar songs to sing along with and new ones to discover, and even a duet or two.
Philippa Says: "I love how Jesus spoke in parables. I love the way you can wrap Gods truth up in images and metaphors. I was brought up on country music so I love the way a song can paint a picture. That, plus my own story of coming to faith is what you can expect from me!"
Who is it for?
Of course it is for everybody who knows Graham's and Philippa's music, but it is also the kind of event to bring friends to who may feel more comfortable in a concert than in a church service.
The programme will also include a brief presentation about the work of Compassion International, a child development charity.
