DESCRIPTION:
Three days and nights, dozens of spray cans and energy drinks and the video was finished: DJ PRO-ZEIKO and the artist Jan-Malte Strijek have put all their creativity and passion together and created -- in cooperation with ROLAND -- ROLANDs first Music & Speed Art Video called "Neon Lights".

In addition to turntables and DJ mixers, DJ PRO-ZEIKO used the new Roland HandSonic HPD-20 Digital Hand Percussion Pad, the BOSS RC-505 Loop Station, the A-800PRO MIDI Keyboard and the SP-555 Creative Sampler.

DJ PRO-ZEIKO is a three-time world champion DJ and dominates his tabletop loop station and his percussion pad like no other. Graffiti sprayer and airbrush artist
Jan-Malte Strijek is an outstanding artist and active in façade design: "To paint a picture only inspired by music, has made me curious, so I agreed to the experiment instantly. It was a great experience, that has led me to pursue new approaches to design."

Drei Tage und Nächte, dutzende Sprühdosen und Energydrinks und das Video war im Kasten: Für das erste Music & Speed Art Video von ROLAND haben DJ PRO-ZEIKO und der Künstler Jan-Malte Strijek all ihre Kreativität und Leidenschaft eingebracht und so in Zusammenarbeit mit ROLAND das beeindruckende Video „Neon Lights" geschaffen.

Für die Musik hat DJ PRO-ZEIKO neben Plattenspielern und DJ Mixer das neue Roland HandSonic HPD-20 Digital Hand Percussion-Pad, die BOSS RC-505 Loop Station, das
A-800PRO MIDI Keyboard sowie den SP-555 Creative Sampler eingesetzt.

DJ PRO-ZEIKO ist dreimaliger DJ-Weltmeister und beherrscht seinen Desktop-Looper und sein Percussion-Pad wie kein anderer: „Als Künstler sucht man immer nach neuer Inspiration und oft findet man sie im Austausch mit anderen kreativen Künstlern. Jan-Malte bei der Arbeit zu beobachten, war faszinierend."

Sprayer und Airbrush-Künstler Jan-Malte Strijek ist ein herausragender Künstler und bundesweit in der Gestaltung von Gebäuden und Fassaden aktiv: „Sich bei einem Bild allein von Musik inspirieren zu lassen, hat mich neugierig gemacht, deshalb habe ich dem Experiment sofort zugestimmt. Es war eine tolle Erfahrung, die mich zu neuen Gestaltungsansätzen geführt hat."

Dominique Christ, Artist Relation Manager ROLAND Germany GmbH ist von der Kreativität der Künstler begeistert: „Bei der Entstehung von Kunst, egal ob Musik oder Malerei, dabei zu sein, ist ein sehr intensives Erlebnis. Hier sind zwei Kunstformen miteinander verschmolzen, haben sich gegenseitig beeinflusst. Das war schon etwas ganz Besonderes."
