Greetings, and welcome. I hope that you enjoy your stay here. This community is for those who enjoy traditional Mediaeval, Neo Mediaeval, Pagan, Celtic, Gregorian Chant, Middle Eastern, Traditional Folk, Folk, Renaissance, Oriental, cross genre and other early based music. Subjects pertaining themes from said genres of music are allowed (such as ways of living in Pagan Europe) but this community is mainly focused on music.
Please contribute news, tourdates, album releases, and anything else you think would interest this community by sending a message to me so that I can post it on a blog if you want a response, or just post it as a comment.
On a personal note, I am a DJ and a promoter of NeoMediaeval music here in the states. I used to DJ at my own event called Bone Harvest (currently on hiatus), and used to mix NeoMediaeval bands that people had never heard into my set of Gothic and Industrial Music. I plan on in the near future DJing for a special night dedicated to NeoMediaeval music called "Nauhtiz". My plan between DJing and promoting (street, events, and internet), and getting other people involved on the way, is to spread the interest of NeoMediaeval music all throughout the underground. The goal is to get as many people involved, and getting bands names out there, mostly European bands that would otherwise would have a rare chance of getting here to the states. Although this is mainly focused for the promotion on the state side, all are welcome! If your Mediaeval/Early Music influenced band is interested in being DJed and/or promoted please let me know, and I will get back to you!
