VAN LANGEN sind die unbestrittenen Lordsiegelbewahrer des Mittelalter-Rocks. Ganz in der Tradition der erzählenden Spielmannkunst übersetzen sie mittelalterliche Lebenslust, Mystik und Tanzbesessenheit in moderne Rockmusik. VAN LANGEN schließt den Kreis zwischen Mittelalter und Neuzeit und bricht von dort aus immer wieder zu neuen Ufern auf und bedient sich aller Register moderner Klangvielfalt. VAN LANGEN stellt sich den aktuellen Themen , ganz im Zeichen der Zeit, und entführt uns vom Irrsinn des Alltages in den Wahnsinn vergangener Tage.

Die Spielmannsmusik war der Rock’n Roll des Mittelalters und so sind VAN LANGEN, die SUCHENDEN VERGANGENER ZEITEN doch ihrer Zeit voraus.



VAN LANGEN are the uncontested masters of medieval-rock. In the

tradition of the art of the gleemen they transform medieval lust for

life, mysticism and dance obsessions in present-day rockmusic closing

the circle between the middleage and modern times to leave for new

shores using recent sounds. In the sign of time the band takes position

to actual themes and carries you away from the madness of everyday life

to the lunacy of days gone by. The music of the gleemen was the rockn

roll of the middleage and so are van Langen -- seekers of yesteryear and

ahead of time.
