In between, a timeless void, barren rock and eternal sands. Resting in the few oasis along the way, we listen to the stories of the Berber, the Touareg, and the Bedouin tribes, peoples of the desert with knowledge from the beginning of time. Through the heat of the Nubian Desert of Egypt, the red sands of Wadi Rum in Jordan, and the vastness of Rub' al Khali of Arabia, distant and exotic grooves give you insight into the Middle East as it was a thousand years ago.
