The title 'Teaghlach' came about when the Neffs along with their parents, Muireann (Marion) and Éibhear, played together on stage. Their parents found those early days a magical experience and a great joy. 'NeffBros' came about when Muireann and Éibhear decided the brothers should broaden their creativity by involving themselves with other musicians. Careers have forced Flaithrí and Eoghan to develop even more musical involvements, but they still get together whenever possible. "Teaghlach" actually means "family unit of parents and children" in the Irish language. "NeffBros" Flaithrí and Eoghan have been described in duet as : "there's something unassailable in the pair's rock-hard unison", it is an awesome force of melodious and rhythmic energy, embodying spontaneous musical passion with tight, intricate arrangements. They are "marvels of their craft." Their performance is quite simply "where traditional skill and high art meet". Dance tunes are given a brilliantly sparky treatment to produce a rich and varied powerful music with piping pyrotechnics and fiddle fireworks. ". and then it's over, and you're wondering where the time went. These two brothers from Cork, have put the universe on hold for an hour ." Slow airs are an emotional aspect of any music, Flaithrí and Eoghan, together and separtately, render "heart-stopping slow airs" and the delivery "is exquisite to say the least".
