Progenistar

Nathan Taylor is a sound designer / producer who has been drifting in and out of many genres for a number of years always mixing ideas and textures to produce individual & exciting music. The story behind the journey to this point in time is a long one. so here's the shortened version :D



As a child Nathan was exposed to every aspect of music in his homelife in Warwick (mainly from his father) ranging from Hawkwind, Pink Floyd, Kraftwerk, Jean Michel Jarre all the way through to Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five. In 1991 aged only 6 he encountered the now seminal electronic act Orbital with their first single 'Chime'. Ever since he's been hooked on electronic music, buying everything from Daft Punk to Aphex Twin and then starting to try and produce his own music. Then having to move to Hampshire in late 1997 Nathan continued to persue his musical asperations whilst at school. Ever since then he has been pushing himself to produce bigger & better tunes under his 'Progenistar' moniker with the pulsing breaks track 'Firewalker / Waterbreather' recieving support from artists such as Soundex, James Zabiela & others along the way as well as his Brian Eno inspired ambient works has helped him develop a distinctive style & identity that'll stand him in good stead for the future.
