LYRICS-
You were to be my forever after
I was just stuck deep in the plot
The hero's fighting his demons
sorting out what he is from what he's not
building up his courage so he can take the final shot
and the king would take his queen
at least that's what he thought

Now I'm clawing
I'm craving
and I'm looking up to higher ground
but the sunlight's
too blinding
and I can't tell up from down
But I know you're up there
brushing back your hair
and outshining all of the fawn
but your hero was stuck in traffic
so you moved on

while i was in act three,
while i was ill and diseased,
and rummaging through debris
'till i sorted want from need

Now the fairytale's turning sour
as the seasons go rushing by
Losing ground to the inevitable
and the future in which we relied
to be that much better, absent of weather
and be the purpose in the vast beyond,
but one last time i wanted to thank you
before i move on

You know I wouldn't change a page
I wouldn't remove your name
'cause I wouldn't be the same
without this as my bane

So I erase 'The End' and start the trilogy
