Maruo and ai become the new band formation and nanocycle inauguration by dissolving clarissloop to which live is made to succeed in Shibuya Quattro in 2005. It performs to cryv sponsoring "Lining Tamahac" by four person organization with 601 to which a seeing the old year out live countdown in yohsuke and Yokohama Hikawa-maru who was the leader of postcube who dissolved at a simultaneous period is made to succeed toku in January, 2006. Post rock band Yucca and co-starring of abcdefg*record belonging. Afterwards, the bassist and shimmy of glasgow (present Love is) are invited with Shinse and it becomes a present five person organization.

It acts on constant around Tokyo including club event 'bluestars*night' (the third Saturday every month) in Shinjuku CLUB WIRE.

"elliott carnival" of collection is a rank Inn in the fourth CRJ-TOKYO chart first appearance place to independent production CD-R in March, 2007. First sponsoring event "Nanocycle party" (Appearance: cryv, caucus, and Love is) held in May, 2007 has already attracted full attention from the music fan that the ear is early as the mobilization that exceeds Capa of the nightclub even by the twice or more is achieved.

2005年、渋谷クアトロにてライブを成功させた clarissloop の解散により、maruo と ai が新バンド結成、nanocycle 発足となる。同時期に解散した、postcube のリーダーであった yohsuke と、横浜氷川丸での年越しカウントダウンライブを成功させた 601 の toku との４人編成で、2006年1月に cryv 主催 「裏地球博」 に出演。abcdefg*record 所属のポストロックバンド Yucca と共演。その後、glasgow (現 Love is) のベーシスト、shimmy をシンセで迎え現在の５人編成となる。

新宿 CLUB WIRE でのクラブイベント『bluestars☆night』 (毎月第三土曜日) をはじめ、東京を中心にコンスタントに活動を行っている。

2007年3月には自主制作 CD-R に収録の「elliott carnival」が CRJ-TOKYO チャート初登場4位にランクイン。2007年5月に開催された初の主催イベント「nanocycle party!!」--出演--cryv、caucus、Love is--はライブハウスのキャパを2倍以上も上回る動員を達成するなど、耳の早い音楽ファンからはすでに絶大な注目を集めている。
