DESCRIPTION:
Well, a long time has passed since my last Video about my Reference System, here it is in all its glory. Several components were changed since; Power amp is no longer my beloved Accuphase, it has been replaced by a Soulution 710 (truly magnificent this one). Source is no longer my Mac Mini with Pure Music and Amarra, it also has been replaced by an Aurender S10 (a true reference this little bugger), Phono stage was changed as well The Manley Steelhead was clearly surpassed by this Aesthetix IO Signature witch is on a class of its own. Last but not least, The DAC, I changed the DCS Puccini for a Full DCS Scarlatti Stack (DAC + Upsampler + World clock). A few changes happened also to the cables; Interconnect between Phono stage and Pre amp is now a Basis PSTT Balanced interconnect, Clock cables are Audioquest Diamonds and AES/EBU between the Aurender and the DAC is done by an Audioquest The Wild Digital.

I am running my Turntable Fully balanced now, from cartridge to Pre amp.

Overall, these last changes represented a huge leap forward in terms of detail, resolution and tonal balance, without loosing any of the musicality that the system already had.
