Interview with Legendary Guitarist Mitch Holder • NAMM 2012 - Video
PUBLISHED:  Jan 24, 2012
DESCRIPTION:
The myth, the man, the legend Mitch Holder is back, and this time Wildwood Guitars and Greg Koch find him dwelling deep within the Gibson lair. Completely unplanned and spontaneous, Greg sits down with Mitch to talk about his extensive résumé, and to share a story or two. From his early days washing guitars and saving for his first guitar, to his work on the Tonight Show Mitch holds nothing back! He even talks about how his custom guitar, aptly nicknamed the "ES-Mitch," came into being. Try not to smile during this video; Mitch is too great.

~ Mitch Holder Bio~
The challenge in talking about Mitch is limiting his biography. We could write forever about his guy. Not only is he an amazing musician, but he's one of the kindest people you would ever meet. As a big-named session player throughout the past few decades, Mitch has played on everything from jingles, movies, television themes, artist tracks, to performing in the Tonight Show band for a good many years. A few of his recordings include tracks from such legends as Frank Sinatra, Barbera Striesand, Johnny Mathis, Dianna Ross, and numerous other. A few movies he has performed on are Saturday Night Fever, Mrs. Doubtfire, Grease, and Tootsie. Mitch Holder--the most humble of legends amongst men.
