Jazz legends such as Nat King Cole or Michel Legrand among others , the sound traditional creole music as well as her father's Malagasy compositions, which had made him a famous singer in Madagascar, instilled in her a real passion for music.
In addition to the abundant musicality in her home Myra received in her early years, dance training and studied piano and saxophone at the conservatory.
She was only 16, when she took over the musical direction of her section in the gospel choir she had just joined.

As her acting debut she starred as the great Josephine Baker in the French Cinéma production with Michel Serrault Ballade de printemps. Myra performed as the lead role „Nala" in the" Broadway Lion King" when the musical opened in Hamburg (Germany).
On top of the success as a singer and actor that could easily fill up three resumes, she has been a highly requested teacher for Gospel masterclasses all over the world.
Myra has regularly made time for charity appearances and has shared the gift of her heartfelt music in prisons and hospitals for various occasions.
