Michelle Stevens

Los Angeles and the music world are about to be seduced by the soulful, heartfelt music of chanteuse Michelle Stevens.



Stevens, who was born in Colorado Springs, CO and raised in California and The Phillipines, grew up with the sounds of Foreigner, Linda Ronstadt, Dean Martin, Bobby Brown, Babyface and many others. Her career began in the sixth grade when she was approached by a vocal coach after her performance at her school’s harvest festival talent showcase and urged her to take vocal training courses.



She soon found herself in every talent showcase and pageant imaginable along with singing lessons and etiquette classes. She spent her teenage years studying Italian Opera and Broadway which expanded her range by leaps and bounds. In 2003, she began writing her own lyrics and melodies.



Stevens work is influenced, not only by the aforementioned music of her parents but, also by the work of Kenny Lattimore, Chaka Kahn, Mariah Carey, Esthero and Tamia. Songs such as “Winds 2 Change,” “Never Let Go” and “Cause and the Cure” showcase her powerful and dynamic pipes.



“I want to speak for all those women out there that wear their hearts on their sleeves,” she explains. “I want to say out loud that women are emotional creatures and we think and feel and act as so and, mostly, I want to create a picture whereby allowing my listener to enjoy that moment in time.”
