DESCRIPTION:
First Night Monterey celebrated Earth Day with Don "Junkman" Knaak, Cal State Monterey students, families, scuba divers, and folks of good will with a community percussion session. Our even will be streaming with a Junkjam™ from Maryland, connecting with nine other sites around the world and jamming for a better Mother Earth via Google Plus! The stream will be Saturday, April 27th from 1 to 2pm EST. I was a collaboration which brought together young musicians, photographers, film makers, with an array of volunteers with support from Save Our Shores, Weststaf, First Night Art Works, First Night Monterey, CSUMB Rotary Club, the Monterrey Harbormaster and many more.
