Ovation TV's Bettina Korek takes a studio tour of My Barbarian- a Los Angeles based performance collective that was formed in 2000.

"The trio performs in site-specific plays, musical concerts, theatrical situations and produces video installations that play with the spectacular while engaging viewers critically. Their interdisciplinary projects explore and exhume cross-cultural mishaps and misadventures drawn from history, mythology, art and popular culture."

Two of the troup's founders Alexandro Segade and Malik Gaines talk about their visual aesthetic and honored Ovation Digital with two performances which are featured in this video.

My Barbarian will be traveling to Madrid for ARCO 2010, an international Spanish art festival that chose to honor the art scene in Los Angeles this year.
