Julia - Video
PUBLISHED:  Mar 11, 2010
DESCRIPTION:
I wrote this song on March 10, 2010. It is a story about a past love who died in a fire. This isn't a true story, just something that fit well with the guitar I wrote.

Lyrics:

Your 1960's sofa set ablaze,
abandoned cigarette to blame,
while you were sleeping watching shows,
It took about an hour or so,
the flames drowned by a fire hose,
you never even woke to see the life you built in energy
flash before your eyes before you died.
Your mother found out on the news,
a young girl dead at 22,
Her only daughter gone before she flew.
And though he left you long ago,
your father cried into the snow,
And there his tears froze on the ground,
until the warmth of spring came round,
where a flower bloomed into the sky.

Julia, we never got to see,
Tofino fade into a summer night.
And even though our love could never be,
I'll love you till the sun dies out on me.
