Not your average Midwestern rapper, J.R. is a force to be reckoned with. In a time where Hip Hop is always looking for the next “hot” artist, J.R. is ready for his time to shine.



Born Keith Alan Keller Jr. in Toledo, Ohio where R & B artist Life Jennings also hails from and was discovered, J.R. started rapping at the age of 14. He started a rap group with other boys from his neighborhood called the Yungnaires. As time moved on, he then started another group called the Suspects. While with that group, they put out mix tapes, which were recorded at his house. By age of 17, he started another group with two other people called the Trap Boyz and chose the stage name of J.R. By that time, his skills were getting better and he started getting recognition in Toledo. Now a solo artist with Hustle Hand Entertainment, he has perfected his skills. Not only is he a phenomenal rapper, he also has talent in recording engineering. He has a build in studio with professional equipment where most of the city rappers come to record their music at.



Inspired by artists such as Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, T.I., Young Jeezy, and Juelz Santana, J.R.’s lyrical ability brings an arsenal of continuous versatility, witty punch lines, with a mixture of an East Coast/Down South style leaving him with a flow in a class of his own.
