DESCRIPTION:
Makayla Lynn is an 11 year old singer/songwriter and a student of the Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts. Each year she competes in the Kiwanis Music Festival. This recording of Hills and Glens was taped while Makayla was practicing for The Maritime Folk Song category. She ended up placing first with a score of 89 and winning the Helen Creighton Bursary for junior vocalist. We put this video together just to show you how much work goes into each song, and how much fun Makayla has doing them!
