Music For Dreams, the Copenhagen based label established in 2000, has released ‘Music For Dreams – Copenhagen 2015 Vol #2, featuring MFD’s recent digital and vinyl output plus never before released tracks.

The second Copenhagen 2015 collection has been compiled by label founder Kenneth Bager and showcases a diverse range of eclectic material including Balearic staples, chill out favourites and cool house tracks. The album features chill material from artists such as Greek duo, Bonnie and Klein, with more clubby material from DJ Pippi, Sandro S. and Lostrocket representing the house side of Music For Dreams.

The album opens with exciting new Swedish export 55 Cancri E and creates an almost This Mortal Coil/Cocteau Twins like atmosphere with its crying synthesizers, sensitive guitars, flutes, and haunting voice (55 Cancri E’s mini album due soon on Music For Dreams). Other highlights include ‘Kesia Yanga’ by Valentin Huedo - a Dixon/Damian Lazarus style house groover, ‘Dangerous’ by DJ Pippi & JL - a magnificent slow Ibiza anthem with an irresistible bass line and the excellent vocals by JL, the slow disco vibes of the Arthur Russell meets Royksopp-like Emil Germ track ‘Give’, Compass Point style dub from Manchester’s Ruf Dug and his highly rated news album ‘Island’, and electronic reggae by Beach Messiah & George Solar. ‘Mexican Margarita’ (Tonovi Remix) is the two Danes Tonovi’s dubby re-rub of one of the most popular tracks from guitar player Jacob Gurevitsch’s latest release, and ‘Charité’ by Dalholt & Langkilde is an electronic summery groove with softly spoken French vocals.

The album was released on all digital platforms on the 21st August 2015.
