"Reconstruction of the falling stars"

"Reconstruction of the falling stars", was composed at Institut International de Musique Electroacoustique de Bourges as a part of monthly residence program and edited at "Theremin-Center" for electroacoustic music and multimedia.

Composition's main idea - is a creation of new sound landscape, based on "sounds of past" and acoustics of very old spiritual places. Composer in this piece appears in a role, similar to archeologist, conducting his research in attempt to connect together elements of past ages and reconstruct times, what was gone. However, because of the fragmentation, splintering, irrevocable loss of authenticity, those sound fragments generating unexpectable mosaic shape constructions.

An authentic French bagpipe, old oscillators from IMEB analog studio "Charybde", acoustics of the 12th century Gothic Roman Catholic Cathedral of Saint Etienne and surround noise samples was taken as main composition sound sources.
