Michael Rafasad ft Black Josef

Singer/songwriter Michael Rafasad (formerly as Michae Irie) grew up with different music styles like Soul, Rock, Reggae and Kaseko. Soon he discovered that he himself got musical talent.

In the 80's he played rhythm guitar in various Surinam party bands. In the beginning of the 90's he started as singer of the all round formation' The Style Masters.

Michael is inspired by the pioneers of reggae music as Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Bunny Wailer, Joseph Hill and others. In the late 90's he composed his own Reggae songs. After meeting with the composer and arranger ER Ritfeld (Keyz)they started to produce their own songs in the studio. Together with his band "G- JEM ROOTS ", they guarantee a real reggae show.
