DJ 38

DJ38, a name he adopted in high school, was born and raised in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. 38, as he is known in the music industry, comes from a simple, humble family who always emphasized the importance of giving ones best and reaching personal goals. 38 puts this lesson to practice when he relocated to Tampa, FL, where he graduated from high school and attended USF, a local university. He also completed a “Basic Audio Engineering” course, from “Career Connection” ( Reno, Nevada). After his academics, 38 began to develop his professional career as a DJ/Remixer/Engineer/Producer and becomes part of Soprano Music, Inc., in Puerto Rico, Cinco por Cinco, Inc. in New York and Reloaded Records Inc., in Florida.



Thanks to his passion for the music, 38 has gained the respect and loyalty of his audience as he has been able to demonstrate his talent and abilities in various venues, like: 1509, Empire, Climax, Fullmoon Saloon, Fuel (all in Tampa), Level (Miami), Palladium, The Matrix, Firestone, Cairo, Copacabana Night Club, Dragon Room, Club Roxy, Blue Room, Screamer’s, Hush, Tabu, Tropical Magic, Cleo’s Gentlemen’s Club, (all in Orlando), Kayros, (in Panama city), El Tejano, (in Texas), Latin Quarters, (in NY) El Teatro, Greenfield (both in Puerto Rico), among others.



38 has released various promotional CD’s, with approximately 7 volumes of Hip Hop, 5 Reggaeton, 4 Reggae and 1 Drum & Bass mix. He has also performed live in different radio stations in Orlando like Mega 88.7, La Zona 1030 AM, EL Sandungueo 98.1 FM, La Mega 820 AM ( Tampa).



38 is the exclusive DJ of “Born Jamericans” former lead singer, Cinco por Cinco/Machete/Universal recording artist, Notch.



38 was a U.S. Marine where he had to set a side his music career in able to serve his country. He is now back from Iraq with with more energy, confidence and security to present to you his newest promotional production “La Amenaza Part 2”. It is a reggaeton mix where he finds support from various well known artists, like Hector “El Father”, Don Omar, Yomo, Yaviah, Wisin y Yandel, Notch, Plan B, Mc Ceja, Chezina, among others. With his humbleness and positive attitude in both good and bad times, 38 has been able to stay firm and strong. With perseverance and optimism he has grown to be successful as a DJ, artist and as a human been. As the saying goes “He who preserves triumph”. 38 has triumphed and get's his inspiration from his kids.
