The opening track from Margo Price's debut LP 'Midwest Farmer's Daughter'. "Hands of Time" is a bleeding country anthem that doubles as album centerpiece and biographical mission statement.

'Midwest Farmer's Daughter' was recorded at Sun Studios in Memphis, with Price pawning her wedding ring and selling her car to pay for the sessions. Next week she'll perform at NPR Music's SXSW showcase, billed next to Vince Staples and Anderson Paak. Here she is making her debut at the Grand Ole Opry last week: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ebTQwvSo-I

In addition, yesterday morning the New York Times ran a massive '25 Songs That Tell Us Where Music Is Going' package, including Price's "Hurtin' (On The Bottle)" alongside song by everyone from Rihanna, Coldplay, Run the Jewels, Kendrick + more: http://nyti.ms/1pzBHdr
