Song about deprived kids - sometimes abandonned by parents - who turn to violence to sustain their needs. The song highlights the importance of education, responsibilty of parents and hardship of haiti slums.
"When others take the path to school, these Haitian child soldiers (the typical Ti Jean) take that of violence. They are manipulated by the adults, and are taught to kill for some trivial amounts facing their misery."
