DESCRIPTION:
Rosetta are a post rock/metal/hardcore outfit hailing from Philadelphia, PA. They shun such genre pigeonholing and label themselves as "Metal for Astronauts" because of the spacey atmospheres of their music, and likely the overall "space" theme/metaphor most of their tracks share. Monument is the final track on their 2nd full length, Wake/Lift, that was released on indie record label Translation Loss. Unfortunately, no one will ever likely hear Monument in a live setting do to the amount of guitar tracks, and hardware necessary to pull off the sound of this colossal song. The lyrics have not been printed, but all you really need to know is "We are moments, men, and places."
