Mona Gadelha - Denis Ceara Lounge (Pacific Paradise - Parte 7) - Video
PUBLISHED:  Jan 11, 2012
DESCRIPTION:
"Pacific Paradise" is a project aiming to elevate the yearning for peace and justice that lives within all of us and that shows itself through the actions we undertake for the sake of the earth and of mankind. Melting ethnic sounds with folklore and electro beats, blending images, languages and religious creeds, the result is one, unique hymn of global harmony; it represents an interesting variety of cultures as well as a deep spiritual knowledge. This moving and exciting anthology is actually a journey to the farthest places on earth. Conceived and carried out y the south american musician and producer H. Antoni Caravajal and supported by artists from the five continents, musicologists, scholars of philosophy and mysticism, peace promoting organizations for the protection of the last aborigines on earth, like the fundacion Sangre de America ( http://www.sangredeamerica.org ), it encourages self-determination and the protection of ethnic groups and traditions threatened by the danger of extinction and that risk to succumb to the terrible technological progress of the western countries.
Let us stop the violent intrusion of what modern society calls "civilization"! Let us stop the obsession for the irresponsible economic profit that keeps on exploiting, polluting and destroying the last natural heavens on the planet!
"Pacific Paradise" speaks the universal language of music, the strong tie that binds all people and embraces the oldest original traditions, thus transforming the cultural syncretism into a unifying feeling.
Music is the ready solution; music can convey trascendental emotions and transform our lives' energetic cycles. It is the mystic riddle that has inspired the cultivated philophies of the past. Thesound represents the fusion with creation and the return to our origins.
"Pacific Paradise" takes us through the water continent, to the pacific islands, makes us listen to the Maoris, to New Guinea's Lanis tribal voices and feel the natural atmosphere of borneo and amazonian. These sounds and inspirations take us to Asia, thru China, India and Japan. They travel with the wind to the arabian world, to Africa, Australia and Oceania; they meet up with the songs from the Cordillera of the Andes and with those from the old world, to make us understand how urgent and absolutely necessary it is to save flora, fauna and the last Aborigines from the risk of extinction.
