DESCRIPTION:
Nimal Mendis' Song "Yesterday Today & Tomorrow" was written for the film "Seetha Devi" by the late Mr Manik Sandrasagra. This song was the first he wrote for his wife Ranjani Mendis who passed away on October 18th 2010. Augustus Vinyagaratnam translated the song into Sinhala - Nim Him Sewva. Both the English version sung by Desmond De Silva & the Sinhala version sung by Pandit Amaradeva were featured in the film. This version by Gresha Schuilling was arranged by Diliup Gabadamudalige. A couple of people on Youtube have performed the English version of the song with incorrect lyrics. The version sung by Gresha Schuilling is the correct one as sung by Desmond De Silva in the Manik Sandrasagra film. Nimal Mendis is a Member of the PRS (Performing Rights Society) and MCPS (Mechanical Copyright Protection Society) of the United Kingdom. Mr Manik Sandrasagra used both versions of his songs in his films.
