La Mojarra Eléctrica
The band develops a new sound taking tradicional afrocolombian music (Bullerenge, Chirimia, Currulao. ) as a strarting point, melding it with afrodecending elements (Soukus, Ragga, Reggae Timba cubana, Funk and Jazz ). Their music is destined towards parties without leaving aside the critical dirreccion of their lyrics. Through the integration of these elements, the band wishes to proyect this particular sound to the world, making clear the mixture of races and cultures that we make a part of as well as the conexion that exists between them.
