DESCRIPTION:
Got the sound I want from my 7 string.. took 8 strings to do it!! Caution: DO NOT string up your 7 string with a pack of 8 strings to standard tuning.. you may break the truss rod in the neck or otherwise warp your fretboard!! I am tuning to drop F#/Gflat for an upcoming project so the lower tuning, even with heavier string gauges, should still be ok (2 1/2 steps DOWN from standard 7 string tuning and 1 1/2 steps on strings 6 - 1).
